How To Rank Well With Your Keywords

Traffic generation is a must for any business online to make money. Traffic can be through paid advertising or FREE organic traffic from Search Engine Optimization (SEO). To make money we must first learn how save money and that is why I am going to teach you how to rank well with your keywords to obtain free traffic.

Don’t know where to start to get your list of keywords? Why don’t you visit https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal. Enter the keyword that you wish to target and hit the “Get Keyword Ideas” button after deciphering the security text for your list of keywords.

Google will list a total of 200 keywords that are related to your keyword that you have entered. This is where I am here to help you. To rank well with the search engines, choose only keywords that have lesser searches. It is better to rank well for a lesser search keyword than not to rank at ALL in a highly searched keyword!

These keywords are easier to conquer and it will get your web page to rank well. The search engines rank every individual page and not a website. Very often I hear people talked about getting their website rank well without understanding that it is equally profitable to rank well for a particular web page.

To rank well with your keywords, we must look for keywords that have less supply and high in demand. Demand of the keyword is the number under “Approx Search Volume” in a month. In this example, I am using the keyword “make money online” and the demand is 673,000.

The supply of competition can be gauged by using the “allintitle:” tag together with your keyword. Here is an example with allintitle:make money in a search bar of Google.

Can you see the drop on the total of result is now 6,380 as compared to the earlier 673,000? The difference for the big drop in number is that only 6380 of the web pages are applying on-page optimization.

High demand keyword is usually money making keyword and that explains on why there is a high supply as well. Therefore to rank well with your keywords on the Internet, starts with your keyword that has the lowest demand and slowly work your way up!
