Awhile back I was in this situation. I wanted to transfer my domains from Yahoo and I had no idea where to get it. After much searching and numerous emails with yahoo support, this is how to get EPP code to transfer domain from yahoo.
First you need to log into your yahoo small business account. In this account, it will list all the domain names you have bought from yahoo.
In order to get your EPP code to facilitate your domain transfer, you must first unlock your domain name. Click on the link on “Edit Domain Locking” which is numbered 1. In most instances, your domain should be locked. This is to prevent others from stealing your domain.
The EPP authorization code is numbered 2 which we will come back for it. If the domain is locked, you will not see any code in it.
To unlock your domain is really very easy. Just click on the button “Unlock Domain”.
The above process will take you to the next screen and that is to double confirm your decision to unlock the domain. Once again click on the “Unlock Domain” button.
Finally we are going to get the EPP authorization code to transfer the domain from Yahoo to your next registrar. For me I am transfering my domains to Namecheap. I am sure your reasons are quite similar to mine and that is how you found my post and it is not necessary to elaborate further incase Yahoo is watching me.
